It is amazing how many people I meet in any given day because I completely believe in the power of building a business via “Face to Face” networking and Social Media. The power of both of these marketing avenues for building a business is essential. So let’s test the theory. So, if we are all somehow connected to one another and it is such a “small” world, and with the help of social media, I want as many people to know about my theory and help me quantify the results with as many people I know as possible.
How closely connected are we? Do we know someone, that met someone, who knows a family member back home? And the last time you saw that person, they told you about seeing them out at the grocery store. Gosh, it is just so funny to me, just how small a world this is and how easy it is to meet someone who knows some of the same people you know. In the past year, I have met so many people and a lot of us tend to “Run” in the same social media circles. We rely on each other for being connected, hearing about each others businesses, learning from others and referring those same people for the stuff we don’t know how to do.

1) How many on LinkedIn are you connected to? 1st level, 2nd level and 3rd?
2) Have you connected with any on your 2nd level and they moved up to 1st level? Why not?
3) Are you in business to build your business? How do you do that?
4) What are some examples of how you connect with people to build your referral network?
5) Do you share the testimonials with everyone on your social media sites? Are the testimonials on your website?
6) Is it you, when you share any updates on Facebook Fan page, twitter, LinkedIn, etc?
7) On a personal tie into business note: If we felt strongly enough about a connection, that they would be there for us if we needed them professionally? For example: a last-minute quote or a presentation for a product, a connection to someone we need to do our job, or a referral for us.
8 ) Is it up to us as a society, in this electronic avenue of connect- ability, can we attest to the ROI we need to quantify the time spent on social media and networking?
